World Heavyweight Championship
Nov. 17, 2002, Survivor Series - It had been almost five years since Shawn Michaels sat atop the sports-entertainment mountain. After leaving the sport altogether after his loss to Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV, few people thought the Heartbreak Kid could ever be a World Champion again. HBK proved them wrong when he turned back five other RAW Superstars - Triple H, Booker T, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam and Kane - in the first-ever Elimination Chamber Match.
WWE Championship
March 31, 1996, WrestleMania XII - A boyhood dream became a reality at WrestleMania XII when Shawn Michaels defeated Bret "Hit Man" Hart for the WWE Championship. The match was a thrilling 60-minute WWE Iron Man Match that actually went to overtime with neither Superstar picking up a fall. In the end, however, it was Michaels pinning Hart's shoulders to the mat after Sweet Chin Music.
Jan. 19, 1997, Royal Rumble - In front of his hometown crowd, at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Shawn Michaels bettered his former bodyguard Sycho Sid for the WWE Championship.
Nov. 9, 1997, Survivor Series - This match is undoubtedly the most-infamous match in the long history of sports-entertainment. With Bret Hart set to go to the rival WCW after the event, it appeared as though he was stripped of the championship without ever giving up. Regardless of the circumstances, the match marked the beginning of HBK's third reign as WWE Champion. For more detailed info on the Montreal Screwjob click here.

June 6, 1993 - Almost one month earlier, Marty Jannetty defeated Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship. This victory was important for Shawn, not only because he regained the IC Championship, but also because it proved that he was the superior Rocker.
July 23, 1995, In Your House - In a match that lasted nearly 20 minutes, Shawn Michaels was able to defeat Jeff Jarrett, who had the Roadie in his corner, to regain the Intercontinental Championship at the second In Your House pay-per-view event.
WWE World Tag Team Championship
Aug. 28, 1994 - With long-time friend Diesel in his corner, Shawn Michaels was finally able to capture the World Tag Team Championship - a feat he was never able to accomplish while competing as a tag team specialist - by defeating the Headshrinkers on this night in August.
Sept. 24, 1995, In Your House - Then-Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels again teamed up with Diesel (then-WWE Champion) to capture the World Tag Team Championship. This time, their opponents were Yokozuna and the British Bulldog, who was substituting for Owen Hart.
May 25, 1997 - It had been almost two years since Shawn Michaels reigned as World Tag Team Champion. This time, with his long-time friend Diesel (aka Kevin Nash) competing for WCW, HBK teamed up with Stone Cold Steve Austin. The unlikely duo defeated Owen Hart and the British Bulldog for the win.
